Riassunto della partita

Sul match posso solo dire che sono contento per la prima vittoria ottenuta. Il match è stato pesantemente condizionato dal primo kick off, dove avevo scelto di calciare. Ho ottenuto blitz, e la palla è caduta vicino alla metà campo in una zona dove era facilmente raggiungibile dai miei. Ho così potuto entrarne in possesso e formare una gabbia ben dentro la metà campo avversaria. Dadi più che buoni hanno reso inarrestabile la mia avanzata nei turni seguenti, arrivando a segnare al 4°. Mr Faber è riuscito a sfruttare bene i turni restanti del primo tempo, sebbene il kick off gli fosse stato nuovamente contro (perfect defence per me). Ho così imparato che i catcher umani con +1 movimento non si possono proprio sottovalutare.... ed ho subito il pareggio. Nel secondo tempo ho cercato di evitare gli errori che mi hanno condotto a perdere almeno due partite di lega che avrei potuto pareggiare o addirittura vincere: Ho spedito i miei positional nel campo avversario pronti a ricevere palla. Ho mantenuto il thrower fuori portata dal nemico, e sono anche riuscito ad attendere ben 4 turni prima di lanciare e tentare la meta. Si trattava di lanciare al 2+ con throw, e di ricevere al 2+ con catch, salvo poi fare un dodge al 2+ con dodge..... niente di troppo azzardato, ma nemmeno di scontato. Infatti, la ricezione si è rivelata fallimentare, ed i miei pro hanno perso palla in un punto molto affollato a circa 5 caselle dalla linea di meta. Faber si è abilmente impossessato della palla ed ha cercato degnamente di proteggerla. Si sono susseguiti due turni in cui sia io che lui abbiamo strappato la palla al nemico e ne siamo rientrati in possesso. Poi, incredibilmente i pro Elves hanno cominciato ad avere le mani pesanti, ed hanno fatto una cas ed un KO nel momento cruciale della mischia per il possesso palla. A quel punto la Catcher dal pugno proibito ha potuto uscire palla in mano dalla mischia ed attendere un turno ben protetta, per segnare all'8°. In conclusione, buoni dadi, assai migliori di quelli di Faber, e qualche esperienza in più per evitare i soliti errori, mi sono stati favorevoli.
